The AIBD-CO Mission

The American Institute of Building Design, Colorado Society (AIBD-CO), a non-profit organization, is committed to providing its members with state-of-the-art technologies to design a complete shelter, appealing in character, and sound in structure, with the client's needs in mind. Its members will maintain a high profile of professional service for and within the Commonwealth.

Our members are required to comply with state statutes and to follow the guidelines established by regional building codes. Our membership is recognized and supported by various state Home Builder Associations, and we have been recognized and authorized to certify plans and specifications by the Farmers Home Administration. Many of our members are also approved to certify plans for the Federal Housing Administration and the Veteran's Administration on an individual basis. Many AIBD members serve on individual metropolitan area planning commissions and various municipal code review boards.

AIBD-CO members pledge to support to related construction industry fields and compliance to municipal codes. The quality building materials that our members specify will not only meet their own high expectations, but their clients' as well.
